CapriCCio Vocal Ensemble

Celtic music with guest performer, Amy Stephen (Celtic harp, penny whistle, accordion) and Allan Dionne (perussion & bodhran).

 

 

Now in its 28th season, CapriCCio Vocal Ensemble, directed by  Michael Gormley, is an auditioned choir for adult voices.

 

Performances of choral music ranging from the 15h century to the present, from simple folk songs to Bach's B Minor Mass and Handel's Messiah, continue to captivate audiencs with CapriCCio's signature style: Virtuosic clarity with a sensitive, compelling spirit.

CapriCCio was featured in the North American Premiere of Christopher Butterfield's Convoy PQ17 and has performed with the Victoria Symphony, the Civic Orchestra of Victoria, the Greater Victoria Youth Orchestra, the Pacific Baroque Orchestra and the Portland Baroque Orchestra.

The February concert will be a delightful afternoon of Celtic music along with guest performer, Amy Stephen (Celtic harp, penny whistle, and accordion) and Allan Dionne (percussion & Bodhran).
