Outdoor Baptism!
On Saturday, September 19th at 11:00am we experienced the celebration of baptism and the beginning of new life in Christ. This was the first known outdoor baptism within the Parish of Central Saanich.
Two of our adult members and one youth member made the commitment to follow Jesus. We were grateful for those who joined us for the service, and those who prayed for us.
Initially, there were a few showers, but as the service began, the clouds parted. While the weather did turn nice, the comment was made repeatedly that if we do another outdoor baptism, we are likely to have it in June rather than September!
