Community Support for Our Peninsula Syrian Refugee Family
Join us as we step out on June 18th to support our Syrian Refugee Family, soon to make their home on the Saanich Peninsula.
Sponsored by the Parish of Central Saanich to support the commitment of 7 Peninsula churches (RAPID), the walk/run will follow the paved "Flight Path" walking/cycling trail around the airport property.
Participants may choose from:
- the full 9.2 km, or
- the shorter 5.5 km or
- 3.5 k routes.
All ages & skill levels are welcome. Travel at your own pace. Light snacks available at the finish.
Register on site at the Holy Trinity Church parking lot (West Saanich Rd. @ Mills Rd.) between 9:00 & 10:00 a.m. on June 18th.
The registration fee is $10 per person, or $25 per family. Income tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
100% of proceeds will go to helping our refugee family.
