I. Recently a request went out to help with a collection of food for First Nations families.
In our ongoing efforts to support our neighbours we send a reminder about our collection of food for our First Nations families
In previous messages you were asked to drop at 16-1950 Cultra Ave. Sybil, who lives there, would prefer that you leave food on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, as she prepares the bags on Sunday for delivery on Monday. This is very much an ongoing need for help and so we ask that you consider picking up an extra item or two when you are out shopping. I will include the list of food items which have been requested, please only these items at this time.
List: Rice Noodles (macaroni or spaghetti) Apple sauce Juice (apple, orange or random) Fruits or veggies (apples, oranges, carrots or potatoes) Corned beef (canned) Kraft Dinner Tomato sauce

If you want to help and cannot do the delivery, please let me know and I will come and pick up from you at your convenience and deliver to the Cultra Ave. home for preparation for delivery.

Also, there are ladies from Holy Trinity who have been cooking dinners (from their homes) once a week for many weeks now and these also go out on Mondays. They would appreciate some help here, too. These can be frozen and then delivered, as is the food. If you would like to help in this way, please give me a call and I can pass along information about this outreach.

Thank you so much for your help with reaching out into our community to neighbours we do not know but have asked for help.
