Most of you are aware that Trish withdrew from postulancy for ordination to the deaconate.She and Ken continue to be members of the Parish from a distance. She has offered the words of meditation for today. Thank-you Trish and we pray that you, Ken and your family are well and stay healthy.

Hi everyone in our church family.
I have been thinking of all of you and again want to thank you for the emails and texts. This is such a weird time and so many messages on Facebook and twitter about COVID-19. I have been reflecting during this lenten period about all the words of St Paul who spent a lot of time writing letters sort of like we are confined to doing now.
I take comfort in little things like the pink foam heart that was given to me from Fern Perkins that is written in Cree Meyapimitisiwin which says may you be blessed with every good thing, also with the kind words on the card that was given to me with the prayer shawl.
I have watched many of the online prayers and church services from around the diocese and around the world.
I hold you all in prayer and wish that I had brilliant words to say about all of this.
I miss human contact but at least one good thing about technology is we can see our loved ones via a screen. I have been making paper dolls and clothing for my grandchildren and playing charades on facetime. I am mailing the dolls and clothes to the kids as it gets me out of the house. We are symptom free but of course like everyone else concerned. We are spending time in the garden and with our dogs and pray each day that this will be solved.
