Join Us for some or all of the events leading up to our Celebration of the Birth Of Christ!

  • Saanichton Community Christmas, Saturday, Dec. 3 at 9am. (St Mary's)

Start off with a pancake breakfast at 9am, and have your picture taken with Santa. Then leave via a horse-drawn carriage through Saanichton.

  • Lessons and Carols for Christmas, Sunday, Dec. 11 at 11am. (St Stephen’s)

We anticipate the birth of Christ with a traditional service of 9 Bible readings, carols and special music.  (Regular service held at 9am at St Mary's)

  • Crafts and Carols for Christmas, Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2pm. (St Mary’s)

   Specially designed for families with young children. No previous church experience necessary!

  •  Lessons and Carols, Sunday, Dec. 18, 9am (St Mary’s)

  • Pageant with Praise team, Sunday, Dec. 18, 11am (St Stephen’s)

Specially designed for families with young children. No previous church experience necessary!  (Regular service held at 9am at St Mary's)                        

  •  “A Child’s Christmas in Wales” by Dylan Thomas, Friday, Dec. 23 at 7:30pm (doors open at 7pm).

Presented by Vox Humana Chamber Choir. Entry by donation (St Mary’s).

  • Family Communion, Saturday, December 24,  at 4pm (St Mary’s)

Designed for all ages, but especially families with young children.

  •  Christmas Eve Holy Communion, Saturday, December 24, at 7pm (St Stephen’s)

A traditional time of worship with carols and "Silent Night" by candlelight. 

  •  Christmas Eve Holy Communion, Saturday, December 24, at 9pm (St Mary’s)

A traditional time of worship, with carols, choir and Communion.

  •  Christmas Day Holy Communion, Sunday, December 25, at 10am (St Mary’s)

A simple time of worship with a smaller group and singing.
