Pacific Edge Chorus:

The Pacific Edge Chorus (formerly City of Gardens Chorus) consists of women with varied interests, careers and backgrounds who love to sing, learn and perform... and have a whole lot of fun doing it!!  What brings them together is a love of singing, particularly four-part a cappella harmony.

Committed to musical excellence and individual musical achievement, the Chorus is proud of its long history of bringing harmony and joy to Vancouver Islanders through this unique musical art form!  In addition to performing regularly at local community events, they compete with other choruses in the area.

Every two years they stage a musical production; and they take their music on tour, this year to the UK, including Scotland and Ireland.  As part of the Sweet Adelines International organization, the Chorus attend International events and competitions where they meet, mingle and learn from and with women from all over the world who share the love of singing four-part harmony.  The City of Gardens Chorus was Sweet Adelines International's 2015 Gold Medal Champions in the Harmony Classic Division, AA category for mid-sized choruses, which was limited to the top five choruses world-wide.

Led by Master Director Julie Smith, the Chorus of about 50 members is looking to grow.  Rehearsals at Gordon United Church, 935 Goldstream Ave, Langford, BC every Tuesday evening at 7 pm are open to the public and to potential new members.
