Taizé is a meditative time of worship featuring music, candlelight, Scripture and prayer.

The Taizé style service consists of meditative chant - the music is based on simplicity of text and phrase which is repeated several times. The chants are interspersed with a Psalm, two scripture readings, intercessory prayers and a time of silence where we open ourselves to God’s presence.
Evening Prayer in the style of Taizé takes place on the third Sunday of the month at St. Mary's. Our next service will be September 18, October 16 and November 20
