Wild Church Victoria is an ecumenical collaboration of Churches and faith communities around Victoria, B.C. (Ecumenical means we focus on what unites, rather than divides us.)
We aren't so weighed down by the bad news of our planet that we neglect to rejoice and delight in its beauty!
We are learning to live well in this time and place.
We listen to and work with all people of good will - including those with varied relationships to faith and the Church.
We pursue reconciliation.
This is not a Church nor does it replace the work of the Church.
Our gatherings are family friendly, outdoors, with time for all ages to engage the world around them - from the wonder of a child to the wisdom of an elder.
We gather those who long for a better world and yet struggle with Church or feel isolated and alone in their concern for the planet.
