Are You Interested in First Nations and Metis History and Culture?

On Monday, June 27th at 7:00pm, the Parish of Central Saanich is offering a unique educational opportunity for parishioners and members of the community, as part of our ongoing commitment to the "Calls to Action" from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada. You are invited (and encouraged) to bring a friend along.  

Fern and Mark Perkins travel to schools teaching children about the unique First Nations and Metis history and culture. This is provided through the Aboriginal Education Enhancement agreement with the BC Ministry of Education. 

Fern and Mark, also from St Mary’s church, have recently offered this program to our Parish of Central Saanich.

We’re happy to say that the first session takes place in the St Stephen’s boardroom on Monday June 27th at 7pm. We hope to see you there and hope that you will bring along a friend too.
