The Dynamic Duo KlaVIERhands Piano Playing Experience!
One piano with 88 keys + four hands with 20 fingers + 100 years piano playing experience equals the dynamic duo KlaVIERhands.
For the past seven years, this duo of pianists Jane Edler-Davis and Wendy Stofer have performed their own 4-hand recitals and have worked with Ballet Victoria, CapriCCio Vocal Ensemble, the Victoria Choral Society and the Linden Singers. Playing 4-hand music has allowed Wendy and Jane the opportunity to explore new repertoire and to be both soloist and accompanist at the same time.
They have performed recitals as part of Christ Church Cathedral’s Summer Music Series and have played in care facilities as part of the Health Arts Society Concerts in Care program.
In addition, both are busy freelance accompanists in the Victoria area, regularly performing separately with soloists and choirs throughout the Victoria area, and each has received the BC Choral Federation’s Joyce O. Maguire Award for long-term service as a choral accompanist.
