Yes, you're in luck - there are rental facilities available at both St. Mary's and St. Stephen's!

What are the opportunities at St. Mary's?

If you're planning a reception or large dinner party, check out our rental facilities at St. Mary's. They're centrally located in Saanichton, very close to the intersection of East Saanich Road and Mt Newton Cross Road.  At St. Mary's, we have a large bright hall with lots of natural light, that is capable of seating 80 people comfortably (1640 sq.ft.). Immediately adjacent to the hall is a fully equipped kitchen (approximately 225 sq.ft.), including a new commercial grade dishwasher, fridge, stove, microwave, and many extras.

If you're planning a full musical program, the main church has excellent acoustics, evidenced by the number of concerts that are held here regularly. There is a high quality sound system too! Not including the open lobby area, the  church is about 2,600 sq.ft., and seats over 200 in pew-style seating. Coupled with a reception in the hall, catered out of the kitchen, and you have a great venue! We are wheel-chair friendly, being all on one floor.

Whatever your interest, there is free parking for 56 vehicles, of which 5 are reserved for the disabled. If you need more parking space in addition to the well-lit asphalt parking lot, there is a grassed area set aside for overflow parking.

What are the opportunities at St. Stephen's?

St. Stephen's is located in a very quiet rural area just off of Mt. Newton Cross Road, and close to West Saanich Road. At St. Stephen's, we also boast a large multi-function hall that is about 2,100 sq.ft. It can comfortably seat 100 people. Immediately adjacent to the hall is a very large kitchen that was renovated in 2014, and is capable of serving up full course meals! Modern washrooms are on the same level as the hall.

If you're planning a meeting, we have a very large boardroom, capable of seating 20 people. Our boardroom is in a quiet part of the building that hosts the hall and kitchen, and can be set up for media presentations.

For the hall, there are 67 parking spaces (gravel) and 3 designated for disabled on asphalt. There are 35 gravel parking spaces for our church, plus one designated for disabled parking.  Finally, there is some overflow parking.

So, whatever your interest - from a meeting facility to a more robust party or dinner facility with a very modern kitchen - you should definitely check out what St. Stephen's has to offer.
